Our History
Huntley Companies has a long history home building in the greater Lansing area. For many years Mike Huntley built high end custom homes on scattered sites. Today the focus is on the beautiful Hawk Hollow Golf Course community. Huntley Companies, Inc. builds homes in all Hawk Hollow developments including The Landings and The Cottages, exclusively Huntley Companies’ developments, and The Woods and The Crosswinds, developments shared with other builders. The Huntley collection of personally designed home plans has expanded over the years to include a wide variety of prices and styles. No two homes look alike and each demonstrates creativity and innovation. The design emphasis is on main floor ranch-style living with expandable areas in the finished lower levels. Superb trim details, a Huntley hallmark, are present in every home. Twin-style homes in The Hamlet (completed) and The Cottages offer a wide variety of choices at a value price. Visitors often comment that the designs are so well planned that they cannot tell that homes are attached. Huntley standards of workmanship are present no matter the size or the price.

Staff
The highly experienced Huntley staff makes building and buying a new home a pleasant experience. Larry and Laura Smith, sales associates and residents in the Hawk Hollow community, assist and counsel prospective homeowners with the purchase of a new Huntley home. They are knowledgeable about the Huntley product line and all the details involved in a new home purchase including documents and financing. Selections and decisions are made in advance of construction in the Huntley design office. Polly Barr, another Hawk Hollow homeowner and on-staff interior designer, assists clients in the selection process making trips to outside stores and suppliers unnecessary. She provides a superb level of expertise based on many years of decorating experience. Kimberly Abendroth, Dave Buck, and Sheila Lotre manage the construction details including estimating, change orders, specifications, site supervision, follow-up after home completion. This team has more than thirty years combined experience in the home building industry. Mike and Nancy Huntley, owners and residents at Hawk Hollow, are proud of the level of competence assembled in the staff.
